Lost network connection after apt-get update/upgrade

HI,

I have been running Jessie since it was released, and while I had a few problems at first I sorted most of them from kind people on this forum.
Tonight (Oct 23) I did an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade and I lost my wireless network connection (The connection icon shows eth0: Link is down wlan0: Not associated).
I tried installing a fresh copy of Jessie (freshly downloaded from this site) and successfully set up my wireless again and all was working. I then did apt-get update and apt-get upgrade and once again I got the same results.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

RE: Lost network connection after apt-get update/upgrade

Common problem with dedicated servers being disconnected by accident

Best thing is to always use an IPMI console to remote into your system instead of using SSH. Even if it is a VPS and not a colocated or dedicated server it is still important to at least have a server in a data center with IPMI (iDRAC for Dell, and iLO for HP, just IPMI for Supermicro) If you are disconnected the console is running on a different port and IP address so you can console in over HTML5 and fix your broken connection configuration in linux or windows.
