Literally just when things were starting to go somewhere with this girl I follow, she switches her account to private. Not trying to be weird, but I’d love to see her latest story posts somehow. Is there a normal or respectful way people usually keep up with private updates without sending a follow request?

Ah man, I’ve been there. This girl I’d been vibing with on comments suddenly went private right after posting something that seemed very directed. I didn’t want to come off strong by following too soon, so I kind of hovered in limbo. Honestly, there’s no “normal” way except sending a request, but I did come across this interesting read https://privatestoryviewer.com/is-liking-old-pictures-insta-flirt/ —talks about lowkey Insta etiquette. Gave me some insight on how not to be “that guy.” Worth checking if you’re navigating the same vibes.
