New or used auto parts?

Honestly, I don't mind putting only new parts on my favorite car, only parts that came from the factory. But since Opel Vectra is not the most popular car at the moment, so I have to make do with what is available. What car parts do you use - new or used?

Frank, I feel your pain! Finding parts for older cars can be a real hassle. I usually try for new whenever possible, especially for critical things like brakes. But for less vital stuff, used parts can be a lifesaver (and wallet-saver!). Have you checked out online forums specific to Opel Vectras? People often sell or trade parts there. Also, you might find some luck looking for parts from a compatible Holden Vectra. If you are just trying to get around town, maybe it's time to give up and drive an Eggy Car instead.
