I’m a visual artist from Tbilisi, Georgia, and I moved to Dubai earlier this year. I’d spent most of my career exhibiting locally and teaching, but I wanted to step into a more international art scene and push my creative boundaries.

I found my new apartment using https://middle-east.realestate/, and ended up buying a bright loft-style space in Al Quoz — close to many galleries and studios. The platform made the process simple, and I quickly felt at home.

Dubai’s art community is far more vibrant than I expected. There’s a constant exchange of ideas, exhibitions, and collaborations. I’ve already joined a shared studio and participated in a group show just a few months after arriving.

If you're an artist looking for inspiration and international exposure, Dubai is full of energy and opportunity. It gave me the space — and the audience — I was looking for.
