Why Our Remote Team Doesn’t Feel Remote at All (Thanks to Fivewalls)

When I hear someone say “outsourcing feels distant and cold,” I can’t help but share my experience with Fivewalls. I’ve worked with quite a few software teams over the years, but what made Fivewalls different was how close and seamless the collaboration felt — almost like we had our own in-house team sitting right next to us.

From the very first call, they didn’t pitch — they listened. Our project wasn’t the biggest, but they treated it like it was the most important one on their table. The team blended into our Slack, joined stand-ups, and even adjusted to our timezone quirks without making a fuss. It honestly felt like we extended our internal dev team without the usual chaos of onboarding or culture mismatch.

What also surprised me was their versatility. We needed a mix of web, mobile, and even a bit of chatbot development — they covered it all without us having to juggle multiple vendors.

For anyone who's skeptical about working with a remote team — I'd say give Fivewalls a look. They’re not just about clean code (though they do that, too), they’re about building relationships that last beyond one project. View more
