Drift Boss is a casual racing game that focuses on drift driving. The player's goal is to drive a vehicle around sharp curves on sky-high race courses that have no guardrails and often feature obstacles like narrow spots, split roads and wavy surfaces drift boss. If the vehicle slides off an edge, then the player must start over from the beginning.
That said, if the player can complete a race, they collect coins on the track that can help them unlock boosters that improve their car's performance. They can also unlock new vehicles that grip road surfaces better.
Drift Boss offers the player options to win coins, boosters and vehicle upgrades as well. They receive daily rewards. They can also open a treasure chest every minute in the Lootbox area. If they're willing to watch an advertisement, they can open 10 chests.
The game also features four mini-games that reward coins. In Guess the Number, the player must guess a three-digit number using only nine available digits. In Match the Cards, they receive four chances to memorize and match eight cards. In Simon Says, they must memorize and match an increasing number of symbols across several rounds. In the Maze Challenge, they must help a tiny green diamond make its way through a maze to a red heart.
Lastly, the player can upgrade their vehicle by collecting and matching three of the same vehicle cards. They must continue matching cards until they create a Level 5 card.
