There should be three main meals and one to three snacks per day for kids (morning, afternoon and possibly before bed). Serve nutritious snacks in addition to balanced meals. The healthiest options are those that are whole, fresh, and unprocessed, such as produce, grains, dairy products, and meats that have not been frozen or canned.
