It is advised to start vaccinating puppies and cats at around 6 weeks of age by taking them to the veterinarian. Until your pet is 4 months old, this will continue, and you will need to make weekly trips to the vet's office. Following that, it is advised to bring your pet when it is 6 months old.
In contrast, it is advised that adult dogs and cats see the vet at least once a year. These routine checkups are crucial to maintaining the pet's health and identifying any major medical issues before they worsen.
IVS Pet's experts advise you to take your pet to the doctor every six months if it is seven years of age or older. However, if your pet is older than 10 years old, your veterinarian may advise having a checkup every three months because the pet is more susceptible to contracting an illness.
