Hi all in the Risk section! I came across this wild stat from the National Park Service saying our machines—everything from engines to grinders—are doubling or tripling noise pollution worldwide every 30 years. It’s crazy to think how loud we’ve gotten! I know it’s bad for wildlife, but I’m wondering about the flip side: what specific risks does this noise pose to human health, especially in places meant to be quiet, like national parks or rural areas? Does it stress us out, mess with sleep, or maybe even hit our hearing long-term? I’m trying to figure out which health impacts are the most serious and why. Anyone got thoughts, experiences, or maybe some research to share on this? Really appreciate any input—thanks! sprunki phase 5
