Hey everyone, I’m trying to pick the right actuators for a couple of projects—one’s a small home automation setup, and the other is a bit more industrial with heavier loads. I realized that just grabbing any actuator won’t cut it. What kind of things do you usually look at when deciding? Is it mostly about load capacity, or do speed and size matter just as much? Would love to hear what you’ve learned from experience.

I’ve noticed that even in everyday gadgets, small design choices like actuator type can impact how smooth and reliable something feels. Whether it’s a motorized recliner or an automated window, the actuator often works quietly behind the scenes but really shapes the user experience. It’s interesting how something so technical blends into daily life without most people realizing it.
