The formation of the moon in its modern form occurred millions of years ago when the planet Theo collided with the ground, what is a moon made of. Part of this planet remained in the form of a satellite, which remained forever with us. This theory is the most common in scientific circles.

Children's fairy tales tell us that the moon is made of cheese, but like all bodies in the solar system, rock is the more realistic ingredient. The moon's surface is covered with dead volcanoes, impact craters, and lava flows, some visible to the unaided stargazer.
