What is Kucoin?
Kucoin is a cryptocurrency trading platform with more than 190 cryptocurrencies listed on it. It was launched in September 2017 with the aim of becoming a “people’s exchange”. The Kucoin token team is based out of Hong Kong and the exchange supports multiple languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more.
One of the key features that separates Kucoin from other exchanges is it’s use of a custom built trading engine known as the “Kucoin Core”. This allows Kucoin to handle 1,000,000+ orders per second with a minimal amount of lag.
Kucoin also has it’s own native token known as KCS or Kucoin Shares. Holders of this token are entitled to a daily dividend known as the “Kucoin Bonus”. This bonus is calculated using a portion of the trading fees charged by the exchange
